Elite / Frontier The Elite Purity Test

On a recent diplomatic mission (raid) at Leesti, Commander Frantic of the alt.fan.elite pirate fleet recovered a barely functional GalNet archive computer. With a little gentle persuasion, a number of files were retrieved from it's databanks.

First we have the Elite Purity Test.

Many years ago, it was, mandatory for all pilots wishing to recieve Elite status to undergo a written test to prove their bona fides.

Please not that while in the past this was considered a "closed book" test, anyone who cares is now long since dead (hehe) so feel free to research your answers by flying to the relevant location in space and having a look. It is incredibly hard. Personally, I cheated (pirate).

To be included on the roster of worthy commanders* you must send your score to Commander Frantic (not me) at m_smart@usa.net

Liars will be keelhauled.

* Note: this is *not* an elaborate scheme to form a "hit-list" of primary assasination targets as a prelude to a coup of *any* of the core systems. You are just being paranoid.

Yep my mistake. Doubly-mistaken seeing as I'm listed as one of the original contributers to the Elite Purity Test. :-/

harmless :(

Ship id was easy, tonnage for the parts.. heh my memory does not go back that far..

The old AFE and EBBS crowd make a heavy showing on that list. Names I remember pretty well, a lot of fan fiction and/or websites coming from those folks
