I can't express how much in awe of this I really am.. I so often berate Frontier but I also acknowledge the great things they do too.. I'm so pleased by this update, on so many levels, because it addresses a lot of what was previously wrong with the game. We still have a long way to go of course..

But come on.. This is one of the most spectacular trailers I've seen so far.. If it had been a tad longer it would have outdone the Damolces trailer.. I digress, but I also sense the hand of Chris Gregory here, of whom I'm a big fan.

For all those involved in its production, and all the FD team, and David for running the show, I salute you o7

Agreed although I think it should have been out as beta was released not at live release. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I thought build the hype before release.. :)
Maybe it wasn't ready, who knows...

I can only second this. The trailer is as awesome as the update is... i really lost the connection to Elite a bit... i got myself together and joined Beta5... i was instantly on fire. Finally the player gets forced to do everything the game has to offer, thanks to the engineers and their demands... And yes, the trailer totally blew me away. Especially, because there are finally people... everything is so much more alive than before.

With taking time to make things work, FD did exactly the right thing.

+1 for waving the flag, OP :)
