Yeah, ok, seems a little tin foil hat level of comparing the two.
I mean by that logic, wouldn't US and most any other big country with segments within it fall within that statement?

EU is having some issues, sure and is far from perfect, and imho, currently working in reverse....like most political stuff seems to be doing of late.....

EU is made out of the countries part of it, in my book, that would mean that EU is there to protect and aid the countries that are a part of it, and not serve its 'own' politicians and their means.
But same goes for most governments of late it seems, so is EU bad or is it the politicians in it, that are behaving like politicians everywhere?

Boris Johnson is a buffoon. An opportunist buffoon, willing to spout whatever nonsense he thinks will increase his popularity at the time, with no regard for the fact that he has argued precisely the opposite before. There may well be legitimate arguments regarding the merits of leaving the EU, but this sort of vacuous drivel certainly isn't one of them. If I chose to vote leave (i have yet to make my mind up which way to vote, or whether to vote at all) I will consider it my duty to tell UKIP, the anti-EU faction of the Tory party and all the other right-wing populist rabble that I consider them more harmful to the country than the EU ever was.
