I thought Season 3 was the "grand finale" of the protomolecule storyline? Maybe I'm remembering things wrong. Some of the side-stories and disposable characters of that "finale" season fell flat on me, but it also had some of my favorite episodes. But like I said, maybe I'm remembering wrong and it's Season 2 I'm thinking of..

While I've lost my enthusiasm for the show, I'll still watch Season 6 since it's the last one. I'm not necessarily looking forward to it, but I might as well ride this train to its destination, having come this far. Maybe I'll play ED while watching this in the background - a game so boring we have to watch TV to pass the time, and a show so boring we have to play a game to pass the time - a perfect marriage, LOL ;)

Season 4 was the least interesting for us but its hard to pinpoint why; maybe it was the planet base episodes that we didn't like. Season 5 had some low points but overall The Expanse is one of my better-half and my favorite shows/series.
