I know...don't advertise on the forum and I'm not doing that. But per all the threads I see on the forum maybe a history lesson in Elite would help. The FFE Art Page covers pretty much all of the Elite versions including manuals. I haven't posted anything on it in years, The Elite List no longer works (time for FD to take over this job) and the links are out of date. But I pay $30.00 USD/year to keep it on the Internet. It's a sentimental thing...
Note that it was a website designed in the late 90s to look like the Elite games of the 90s. I'll never change it as it fits so well. Check out the writings page. I just reread them and it is so weird how they fit 17 years later!
Maybe some history would reduce the number of repetitive questions on the forum. Of course maybe it would also ask more questions! At least they would be more knowledgeable about the history of Elite.
