The final dinosaur

so frontier decided to leave out the 37th dinosaur. this has gotten me quite excited so i started to hunt for clues to cut down the list of potential dinosaurs.

From what ive been told the picture that was excluded from all previews so far was a theropod. That means that we'll likely get another carnivore that sits between Huayangosaurus and Kentrosaurus. It has been confirmed that it is not a hybrid.

Tons of potentially aweseome theropods in that space. Like Icthyovenator and Irritator. And ive checked 10+ other theropods in that naming gap and there are only 2 potential dinosaurs that could show up that fits the current dig sites of JWE. Or rather, fits best.

- Jenghizkan - A synonym for Tarbosaurus.
- Juratyrant - A carnivore found near Oxford Clay, in Kimmeridge Clay.

The Jenghizkan synonym seems to be annulled today, but it still pops up in articles. It might be a way for Frontier to hide away Tarbosaurus until release. The other alternative is Juratyrant. It was not found in Oxford Clay but its probably close enough to be put under it.

I am pretty confident by now that the final dinosaur is a tyrannosaurid.

Its been confirmed as not a hybrid? I didn't realise that. Ive literally just commented on a thread about this.

Can I just point out that it's confirmed the 4 hidden dinosaurs at the end of the roster isn't the Indominus, not the black square itself. Lets be honest, it can't be anything other than the Indominus, nothing would necessitate being hidden behind a black square other than the Indominus. Unless Frontier or the people leaking the footage are majorly trolling us it can only be the Indominus.

But why do they hide it when they openly told a gaming magazine 3 months ago that it would be in the game?

The person playing the game who gave us the screenshots had already unlocked the Indominus (given that it was in alphabetical order with the dinosaur species with 100% DNA) so wouldn't have been able to show us what it looked like. Additionally there could be something special about its icon that we're not allowed to see yet taking into account that you don't collect the DNA of it from bones and amber.

Universal requested it to be hidden as far as i was told. The dinosaur list doesnt show hybrids, which was recently confirmed by a comment from Frontier on reddit. There is only 1 dinosaur left to confirm so i am confident that we might be getting that for the final species profile.

This was released 3 hours ago, no Tyrannosaur has arms like that. Provided this isn't fake it can only be an Indominus Rex:

Rather anticlimactic if that proves to be indominus. it looks pretty damn scrawny for being indominus.

Yeah I agree. However you have to remember the Indominus is about 50ft long, so it may look scrawny there but it's got a serious size advantage on any other theropod so its lack of stockiness there might not be as apparent when its in a paddock.
