The final step to Fed. Rank.

I have reached V. Admiral + 100%. I have expected to see a Ascension mission when I dock at a Fed. station but, I have not seen anything for the few days I have been capped. Is it just that I need to wait for something to appear, or is there a specific Station/Place I should be going to to see a mission pop?

They no longer have "Ascension" in the name. They're more stealthy now. Look for missions with names such as "Federal Intelligence Data Courier" or "Federal Navy Supply Run." Basically, the trigger is that it has "Federal" or "Navy" in the name. Also, they spawn quite rarely. It may take a while to find one. Make sure, too, that you are checking the minor factions aligned with the Federation for these missions.

It does/did. Thanks. I do have to have a look at the other Fed. factions around. I have just been focused on the Faction I am associated with.

At 2:26 in my little video, you can see what the rank-up missions now look like. It helps to have good rep with the Federation faction in the system, because sometimes the rank-up missions are rep-locked.

That got me as well. I kept looking for 'Ascension' missions and didn't see any. And I can confirm, they may be 'rep locked'. It helped if I hit a station where I was well liked.
