Ships The Galaxy Giveth and the Galaxy Taketh Away

All my hauling was done in a Cutter, my trusty (rusty) T9 confined to a storage shed at SD prior to fleet carriers.
Then came Colonisation, the T9 had the edge over my Cutter especially when most of it was in system transfers.
Now like many i am preparing once again to mothball the old girl in favour of the more ample Panther.

What's your fondest memory of your T9?
For me it was the many hours/days i spent farming relics with other commanders for the seemingly endless CGs for those arms manufacturing nutters.
That was some great banter we had whilst upside down!

T9 at CGs for sure.

Runs either being a cakewalk or a real battle to avoid interdiction, either way watching the scanner like a hawk and being suspicious of every hollow box.

Escaping by high waking with a shot shield and a rapidly diminishing hull, or trying to think of a joke on the fly to reduce the amount of cargo some scallyway is trying to nick

Great times

My T9 has always been my go to for simple hauling and CGs. The Cutter was my choice when running cargo missions to be able to better defend myself against mission generated opponents. Looks like the Panther will be quite able to defend itself. I have recently refitted my T9 with a fighter bay, reducing it's overall capacity. It can now kite it out until system security arrives, then go for the kill. After I get the Panther in 3-4 months the T9 will be mothballed and only occasionally taken out for Nostalgia.

One of my T-9s is a laser miner. I've had many a chill time in that ship.

The other one is a pure hauler. I'm not too sentimental about that one, but she can haul a lot and that's perennially useful.

Although after seeing @nemolomen 's video, I'm kind of curious about giving a combat-capable build of a T-9 a go.

My primary laser miner is a T-9, "Gold Digger".

"Ruby Rhod", in the video, has provided me with my first Elite rank as well as enough cash to purchase and outfit my carrier

I don't recommend it, for every time I've been victorious, there are 20 or more times when I "didn't make it"...

Though, early on I had seen some commanders flying in Open with T-9s giving their attackers a bad day using mines modified with reverberating cascade...
