The game could do with multi-select option for tranquilized dino transport. QOL Proposal

One QOL issue I had with JWE was how the game lacks any form of group select when it comes to transporting dinosaurs. It is exciting to have an enclosure of 30+ compies, but the moment they all escape and need to be brought back, it becomes somewhat of a chore to bring them back to their enclosure one by one.

Now in JWE2, we do get to transport dinosaurs as a group when it comes to transporting from the hatchery, but I hope we could get a similar group option when it comes to transporting dinosaurs outside of their hatcheries.

One of the most notable features for me was a new window that pops up when it comes to transporting dinosaurs. In the latest update, a dinosaur selected to be transported will now have a window at the top left showing the dinosaur's silhouette, name, and the options you could do with the dinosaur. This has gotten me thinking of how the UI could be expanded further, and how it could lead to a multiselect option for JWE2.

I was thinking that we could have the transport UI expanded to allow us to showcase multiple dinosaurs we will transport at a time. Let us keep the limit to 10, as that is the maximum number of dinosaurs that could be transported at a time from the incubation lab, and 10 being a pretty large number of dinosaurs to transport and manage at a time.

The dinosaurs to be sent as a group would be showcased on the left, with the first to be transported at the top of the list in the large window, and the following dinosaurs to be listed below, with the last to be transported will be at the bottom. Each time a dinosaur is given a destination, the next dinosaur below moves up, until all dinosaurs from the list of 10 have been given a destination.


To activate it, simply click and hold the cursor away from a tranq'd dinosaur until the cursor becomes a brush. Then move the brush over the group of tranquilized dinosaurs to net a selection and fill up the 10 spots for transport.

The player would then have to order a command to the ACU in regards to the dinosaur highlighted at the top of the list. It could be an option to place to a destination, to sell, or to skip/cancel and move on over to the next dinosaur on the list.

If there is a dead dinosaur that is caught within the multi select brush, then ACU would be given an automatic and immediate order to move the corpse outside of the park for disposal.

Below I made a sample how the multi-select could work, in this situation, I had a herd of olorotitan that needs to be transported to a different enclosure after being attacked by a pack of raptors. After the raptors were taken care of, I would then need to use the multi select tool to select the olorotitan that needs to be transported, as well as taking the injured ones to the nearest Medical stations, and disposing of the killed specimens.

I would then use the multi select tool to gather the tranquilized dinosaurs (up to 10).

The dead Olorotitan I have brushed over are now automatically being handled by the ACU and will transport out of the park.
I would then move the first 3 olorotitan selected to the new enclosure, and then be shown that the 4th is injured, I click on the nearest medical station for the dinosaur to be transported for medical treatment. I would then transport the next 4 to the enclosure and be told the 9th is injured, I could either move that to another available medical station, or cancel/skip it to transport 10th and final olorotitan to her enclosure.

I do not think my method is perfect and it could be improved on, but I do believe a multi select tool for transporting dinosaurs could be a huge time saver. That way a flock of 30 Gallimimus that needs transportation could use at least 6 clicks instead of moving each individual to a new enclosure. Or if a group of dinosaurs would die together, it would make for an easier cleanup.
