The giant cosmic fart

Hello ,

Every time I fire off my discovery scanner , it reminds me of some giant flanged fart echoing through space.

Who designed that particular sound effect , as they should be congratulated for creating a piece of scientific humour.

I love the sound! I think it should be represented on the scanner as well though as there was always talk of explorers having to be careful when using scanners as it can alert others to their location but this feature seems either dropped or put by for later, I hope it's the latter!
