The Golden Piñata
[Note for the Mods, I'd like to post this in two(2) forums (General & Gamma) - as not everybody who reads General will read Gamma and vice versa and I'd like to expose the event to as many people as possible for feed back and tweaking. Would that be ok to copy/paste this in Gamma?]
The premise;
A small cargo ship ( a Zorgon Peterson Hauler, with a fuel scoop - in yellow
) is to travel from the Aiabiko star system to the Sol star system ( and back again, if there is time and something worth using for prize cargo ) with "valuable" cargo on board, Crime Reporting - OFF on the open server, with a Twitch stream running and a published route posted.
Time to ruuuuuuun awaaaaaaaaaay !!!
The Idea;
Take the sweeties.... I mean, cargo
The Rules;
1) If the Hauler is successfully interdicted, it has to drop 1T of cargo by using "Jettison (Abandon)" as a prize for the person who won.
2) The Hauler cannot jump out of it's current system once it has started the journey until there has been at least two(2) interdiction attempts on it or one(1) successful attempt.
3) The Hauler cannot be more than 50Ls from the system star (unless currently battling an interdiction and it goes over, but must return back to the "game zone" if it succeeds to evade)
4) Chasers are welcome to try and make use of Hatch Breakers for extra cargo. Any "Stolen" markers on any prizes gain this way are the responsibility of the person who used the Hatch Breaker.
5) The Hauler is only allowed to leave the "game zone" so it can dock to buy more cargo should it run out before reaching Sol (though the value of the prize will now be lower, but the Hauler is to get the best thing it can at the time).
6) The Hauler is allowed to repair / refuel while getting more cargo for prizes
7) If the Hauler has docked under the conditions set out in five(5) it must give a fair warning before continuing on ( five(5) or more minutes ), in case those chasing want to use the time for any bathroom breaks / fetching snacks / drink and so on.
So, that is the basic idea.
