Quick rough comparison between my aging Core i5-2500 and GTX570 PC and my PS4 Pro after a quick few hours in space in Open.
The good, its Elite and it looks the business. The performance graphically is A1 (apart from screen tearing) it's fluid, it looks great and with lots of ships on screen the Pro doesn't skip a beat. It's great on the big TV too. Need to set my TV up better I think but it looks so good. Mission boards are quick, station menus quick, outfitting quick, galaxy / system map speedy.
The bad, supercruise transitions yikes.Worst thing by far and much slower than my PC. Worst when going from Supercruise dropping to Stations (not tried planets) It's slow, it's not painfully slow but its way, way slower than PC in Open. (I am hoping it's because it's busy but I was in a pretty quiet system and it was still lag-oh-rama). Sometimes going to left and right panels seems slowed too compared to PC.
The ugly, screen tear really bad with headlock especially.
Early days yet but looking good, no crashes for me so far.
