Use the 'Insert Image' option on the reply control ribbon (in the rightmost block), then paste an image link that has an image file extension (jpg, png, etc...).

Hi Craig, I tried this option but the file is too large - limited to 100000 characters, but 1920x1050 jpeg is about 4x this max limit so it wouldnt upload. If i lower the quality it looks awful compared to the ones others have posted. How do the others do it?

I use flickr as my picture bank. From flickr I select copy image location and here in forums I select "insert image" and copy flickr image location there.

For Imgur there's a choice of links. when you hover over the image the pop-up box has 'get share links' Copy the 'BBCode (forums)' link (looks like :

) and insert that link.

Agree.

Hopefully, there will be another picture competition in the future, and they should allow 3 or 5 pictures as max instead of 1. Would make it a little bit easier I think.
