Hey all, I'm a returning play after quite a few years so forgive me if this has already been discovered. I did a quick Google search and search of the forums which didn't seem to turn up anything.
I recently jumped to The Great Annihilator for the first time, and while scanning the system I noticed there was a signal near the left side of the FSS for the black hole itself. Zooming in on it reveals a repeating audio signal. The E
universe is filled with spectrograms so the first thing I did was record the audio and run it through Audacity. There definitely looks to be some sort of structure in the Spectrogram, but I can't make out what exactly it is.
It's 4 batches of audio separated with gaps of varying times, 2.5 seconds, 3.2 seconds, 3 seconds, and 4.8 seconds (in that order).
Spectrogram settings are Linear Scale, 1 - 8000 Hz, 20 dB of Gain, 80 dB of Range, Frequency-Based Algorithm, Window Size 1024, Window Type Hann
