The Great Exploring in Style Expedition

Fantastic looking shots. I never realised how photogenic the Orca is.
Something to consider once I'm back in the bubble looking for a new Ride. :) Sitting in the same old Asp for months does tend to drive you mad...

Today I finally managed to find a way forward into the loop!... We have passed through many systems tagged by the CLassic Explorers of Elite. :) The day ended at Messier 78
"We are currently leaving Messier 78, named by the ancient astronomer Charles Messier. Blue drinks and ice cream is served in the Lounge."

Stop it! Now you're just teasing me...

Explorca! Copyright it on the right now.

Any idea where you are headed next? If you come back to the bubble and are going to go back out for a really long time, I have some in-laws who could use a vacation.(I will be the one actually getting the vacation though)

Next I will jump about inside the Loop and watch the spectacle... after that I will see what me and the Guests want.. we will either go corewards where the star density is more friendly, or we will head for home.
I will be going for a long trip in the intermediate future, but it might not be with the Orca. The future will tell... unfortunately I won't be able to play much in the coming days, though.

Nice going, have some rep. Sir.
I'm just about to hit the bubble (what's 10KLY between friends?) after a 5-month trip to the outer reaches. Who knows, maybe I could hop aboard when you return and let someone else do the driving for a while? I think I'll indulge myself, thank you very much.

We recently completed our Party Tour of Barnard's Loop and turned Bubblewards again. We are running dangerously low on beer. I have tried finding materials for synthesizing some more, but without an SRV cleared for driving on planets with atmospheres and vegetation, it seems hopeless. We will have wine to the dinner tonight , and make speed for the Bubble!

Here's us leaving the Loop:
"Just image, somewhere far beyond that glowing belt of the galactic disc, somewhere impossibly far away out there... there's where CMDR Frawd Digger is, in his tiny Grasshopper II... with no wine, and no lobster. Makes you think, doesn't it?"

Here we are landing on an untagged planet:
"We have safely made Craterfall!..."

We recently passed by an untagged water world, and we ran the gauntlet of a rather cramed system.

"Water, water all around... Samuel Taylor Coleridge would have liked this world..."

"Heat peaked at 153%, but now it is dropping again... as we are heading into the Cold Black Interstellar Void!...."

We are making speed for Home now. The guests are busy finishing off what's left of our onboard Wine Cellar, and the last of the Witchhaul Kobe Beef. We're out of Lavian Brandy, but as long as the wine keeps flowing, noone seems to complain. We had the last of the Centauri Mega Gin to celebrate our last Planetfall on this expedition:

Shortly thereafter we distributed the last of our Onionhead supply while cruising about in a system made up of one gloriously bright B-class star and a Neutron Star... best to use that stuff up before entering Federation Space...

The Expedition has returned home, the Party is Over. It is time to sober up and get back to your mundane jobs within the Federation and the Empire. I am sorry we had to land you in such a dump as Mattingly Port in Ahemakino, but I'm sure you can find transport from here, or by your own sidewinder... Thank you for voyaging with the Narwhal.
I seem to be unable to upload a picture of the Narwhal safely docked at Mattingly Port.. but rest assured, we are safe, and I earned about 5M from the discovery data, and gained many First Discovery Tags. The ship is being retrofitted as a survivable blockade runner. I think it is time for me to go and join some COmmunity Goal.

Hello CMDR Space Lurker,

I'm glad to see thatthe trip went so well and that you have safely returned to "the bubble". It's good to see that class is stil valued and expressed in this day and age, where piracy seems more valued than honuest admiration of the galaxy. I'm sure that none of your passengers mind being dropped off where they are, as you have given them the trip of a lifetime. I do wonder wether they will remember much of it though, given the frequent reports of various spiritual enhancing beverages ;) (maybe they'll remeber the last part of the trip... parially).

Fly safe,
CMDR Jermus

Hm.. yes... Maybe next time I should re-fit the ship... remove all the luxuries and turn it into a de-tox and health center with gyms and stuff... take "overworked" celebrities on a recovery cruise to the Cat's Paw Nebula... :)
