I focused on missions in PLX 695, per that permit I garnered... and I just received a permit to ROSS 128.
And I reached the federation rank of WARRANT OFFICER.

So I guess I'm headed to ROSS 128, to see what I can see...

Somewhat of a bummer I'll be leaving my Viper behind

um, heading back I think... ROSS 128 looks to be a really boring place, having 2 stations, one being the WARREN PRISON MINE. Um who gets incarcerated ? Only those who don't pilot ships?? Anyway, guess I'll have a look at the Galaxy map before I head back.

haha - talk about a dreary place ROSS 128 is... so there are two stations there and I checked Thrudd's Trading Tools for commodity pricing:
GALTON HANGAR 16 days old.
WARREN PRISON MINE, no commodities data available!

Well, you'll be happy to know, said data is now updated...

One interesting note about ROSS 128 is that it's really close to SOL - about 11 light years.
So um, what happens if I go there without a permit?

I can target the system, which I thought without a permit, I would not be able to do...

Well - I have my answer... thought I needed a permit but I suppose all it took was being ALLIED with the Federation. So, just landed @ GALILEO. Guess the permits are really just a way to get you closer to SOL?

You get the Sol permit at midshipman. If you don't have a permit for an off-limits system you cannot select it as a destination in your nav computer.
