The hunt for combat stabilizers.

So I've been told I need to look for high tech anarchy/dictatorships in order to find these, and I've done in a couple of places according to the system map.

But when I arrive at the station, no combat stabilizers. Not even out of stock, just not listed. Do I need to increase my rep with these factions or something?

I can't see what system that is by your screenshot! If you could post that it would be handy. I have never seen a station that sells them. I was forced to search for them for the first Empire rank ascension mission. You would think they are the rarest commodity in the known galaxy....

Fortunately after failing that initial ascension mission (where you become "outsider", but have to schlep around looking for rare commodities) I found a far more forgiving one that required only personal weapons, sold by a nearby station, in addition to many other stations in general Empire space.

It was in the Afli system. Euryale was another system that trade lines showed combat stablizers being exported, but no stations in the system actually exported it.

Ended up just dropping the mission repeatedly until I managed to find one requesting personal weapons.
