"The hunt starts on the 28th"

Sorry if I missed this being suggested anywhere, I'm guessing I probably have, ( I tried sifting through the Cannon thread but I got a headache lol ), but it kind of reads to me that... "To find us, look for a bounty hunter."...and..."The hunt begins on the 28th." is suggesting these quotes are linked and the Bounty Hunter/Cobra? will appear in game on that date?
StevoDubbs wrote a fantastic summary in the Cannon thread of everything they have found/thought of so far, but failed to mention my suggestion regards the Hunter. Hence why I was just wondering if it had crossed anyones mind? I'm guessing yes, and I am just being very behind matters and very slow to catch up

We do actually.

I suggested it was 28th of August in the UA/UP/Barnacle thread according to some Michael Brookes comments, and he came up and confirmed it.

It definitely is the 28th of August.

Well I know my suggestion seems trivial and obvious, but some times the obvious is, well just that. As I said i hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere that the two quotes were linked. Bounty Hunter in a Cobra like the one featured in the DB vid, makes an appearance somewhere in game from the 28th.

I was thinking the Bounty Hunter is something a bit more covert, maybe along the lines of some kind of SPY

I am sure I have heard the phrase something like...They may be among us now... and how there are many mysteries still to find, being banded about? But then, I am no scientist and probably thinking to simply lol

It could be anything, but as far as powers go they don't want to be aliens mentioned,for obvious reasons - panic. Can destroy entire system economies - and most likely will.

I'm hoping the Bounty Hunter on the 28th, or something very similar, is a thing. As all the binary and image decoding stuff is a little to deep and distracting for me to want to partake.

Gets to the 28th.

Finds nothing.

Asks M Brookes if the thing that's supposed to be in the game is actually in the game.

M Brookes says yes.

Still can't find it.

Servers go down for a while, unexplained. Players claim it was a stealth server side update.

Finds thing we are supposed to find.

That about sums up the 28th.

i think the thargoids interacted with some of the early generation ships, the missing colonies out there somewhere , the aliens or alien/human allies or hybrids have now returned to interact with us.

They have infiltrated the alliance for sure, and now their contact begins.

barnacles are generation ships. More crustacean now, than man. Twisted and evil. We must be cautious.
