LostWinds the idols

I have a question about the idols you can find in the game.
Can you still get all the idols later on if you have skipped some of them?

Yes you can, as long as you don't actually enter the area where you have the final boss fight. You can exit the city the way you did first time around, collect any idols you need, then retrace your steps by slipstreaming up into the city with the jumbarella cape.

The only exceptions are the idols you need the king to get. If you don't get them pretty much straight away then you can't really go back for them AFAIK. There are only about three of those though, and they're in really obvious places.
