Yeah, so I bought an Anaconda to start working on as a project. I got it fitted out as a trader, and I wanted to get a nice FSD range upgrade for it. So I went to Felicity Farseer with the ingredients for a level 5 upgrade.
She was having an off day. Some kind of flu going around, I think. The upgrade came out significantly less powerful than her usual. She apologized, and explained it to me like this:
"Look, this isn't an exact science. I have to juggle a lot of variables, and each Frameshift Drive is a little different. I admit this one didn't come out as well as I'd hoped. But we can always try again. In fact, if you to want up the odds of getting a really good combination, bring me enough materials to do three upgrades. I guarantee you'll get a better result than you have now."
So, still wanting a better jump range for my Anaconda project, I trundled off to search for Polonium, since it always seems to be the hardest material to find. Wonneriti 2 was my destination, and I slid down onto the bumpy surface of the planet, unloading my trusty SRV and driving off to search.
It was a long search. Hours and hours of driving, scanning, cracking open rocks and meteors, looking for the elusive element.
But I saw a few very interesting things along the way, and to keep my mind occupied I decided to chronicle my journey in pictures a little.
In the end, I found enough Polonium for my 3 upgrade tries. I still have other things to get, but at least that part is done. It was a bit tedious, I suppose, but I made some new memories. And those are always good.
Here are the pictures of my expedition, and a short video too. I hope you enjoy them
Arriving on the planet:
Starting the search:
Some kind of graveyard?
A wrecked DBX. I was able to read the data core, but I didn't have the encryption key so it wasn't worth much. It was still cool to find.

I sure hope Felicity is having a better day next time I visit her. I think she's been over working herself, she looks like hell.
