1. Start sending expeditions to the sites with Gigantontosaurus and Carnotaurus ASAP. A later mission will require them anyway, so might as well get ahead of the game, and if the T-Rex dies before the scenario is completed, you've already got another highly rated Carnivore at 100% genome ready to go and an enclosure already built for it.
2. Only invest in the Long Life DNA as far as genes go. All others are irrelevant.
3. Either place your Velociraptor enclosure directly across from your Mosasaurus enclosure, or place your Mosasaurus enclosure directly across from your T-Rex/Carno/Giganto enclosure, and leave enough space to put two or three medium Amenities which will net you such much needed significant income.
4. Fire all your scientists at the start unless they either have Altruistic Salary, Cheaper Incubation/Synthesis/Research/Expedition, or cost you less than 12k per minute. The Staff Improvements perks will takecare of any shortcomings your scientists might have and by the time you improve their stats you'll already be making enough money to afford it.
That's about all I can think of.
