The Keelback [Elite Dangerous] #KeelbackAwarenessWeek

I finally bought one to do the Guardian CG thingy. Also for Rescue stuff.
Very good, versatile.

Love the Keelback!

Was my main workhorse until the MkII came out. It was gathering dust until the Keelback Awareness Week was posted, so I took her out for some much needed loving (engineering) and now I remember why it was my favourite for so long - its so damn versatile and that boost sound is epic.

This Build is my cool-running Keelie, more for fun than effectiveness. Used for long-range sniping, wanted passenger running and megaship looting (FDev please bring back smuggling gameplay). I know I need to balance my heat-power-thusters better.

I have my Keelback outfitted for probing Thargoid interceptors and remaining hidden, engineered and outfitted for minimal heat signature. Aptly named 'The Probulator'.

Keelbacks are great ships, the Jack of all Trades vessel for an affordable price.

You can armor & tool them up and punch above your weight with the SLF helping or use them for a bit of trading as you deliver messages for influence or rep, they run pretty cool for easy scooping, and above all they have magic landing struts that will ensure you never, NEVER have any problems getting your planet buggy into or out of that ship no matter what the terrain is like.

I made about 350mill in mine and maxed out my Imperial rating with courier and planet scan type missions.

I took your advice and thank you this really is a pretty good ship, I do have to admit though the first hour or two I kept thinking to my self what the hell was that? the sounds this thing makes are awesome o7.

I bought and outfitted one today because a) I'm trying all the little ships I skipped earlier in my game and b) your video sold it to me all too well.

I'm really impressed with it, fully engineered and loaded it's boosting to a little over 460m/s and getting over 33ly, 29ly with 32T of limpets onboard. My weapon loadout is no doubt daft and pointless but fun enough and it's all cheap enough to lose in Open with no worries.

Cry Of The Banshee

....and the name is a result of that barmy boost sound.

Great battle Keelie build. Reminds me to go unlock the Packhounds.

Sadly this is one of the ships you won't see me flying, along with the AspS. I rather use the T6 for cargo hauling and the Python for mining.
