The Kouprey or Kuprey

It is a species of wild bovid native to Indochina. The species survives only in the jungles of northern Cambodia, where it is critically endangered.

It is estimated that there should be no more than 250 copies

It would be awesome if they would be in Planet Zoo but they are probably extinct. Maybe there could instead be a Gaur or Banteng in the Game

It would be awesome if they would be in Planet Zoo but I'm confused. Are they extinct or not. The German Version of Wikipedia says that they are extinct but on the English Site they are listed as critically endangered

Kouprey haven't been seen in over 40 years. On the IUCN they are specifically listed as Critically Endangered (Possibly Extinct). They might still be out there, but considering they were large, lived in herds and are active mostly by day, they would probably have been seen already.

One thing that I found that I think is interesting, from 28:26 in this video below is footage of wild kouprey filmed in Cambodia as part of a survey not long before they were last seen.

It is not known for sure if the Kouprey is extinguished or not.
Today, I have seen that in Vietnam, they have just rediscovered a species of mouse deer (which was believed extinct) after almost 30 years. All this thanks to a phototramp system and several months of observation
