Hello Pirates, Scoundrels, Mobsters or anything else you want to be! The Kumo Crew welcomes you to its official Reddit! First of all we're sorry if we don't seem very active in here, we know Reddit is a great place to communicate, but we find it not enough "secretive" for our most sensitive activities, but we can at least explain to you guys what you can do to help us either way and how you should play to consider yourself a true member of the Kumo Crew!

OPENPLAY

The Kumo Crew has always favoured Open Play for every game activity, and we've always criticized our enemies for they playing in Private Servers to defend themselves from our guns, so every activity, including Fortifications/Preparations, Undermining, Background Simulation, Engineering, should be done in Open Play. Period. We're sorry but we don't see any good excuse for do things any other way. So if you consider yourself part of the Crew ALWAYS PLAY IN OPEN.

5C

For the few ones that don't know what this is: 5C (5th column) is basically players pledged to a Power merely to sabotage that Power playing in Solo, doing things like prepare bad systems, or any other action to make us work much more than needed. We know perfectly from which Power our 5C is, and we know that probably some of them are reading this (hello lame-!) but we don't care: as said before we are better than that, so the Kumo Crew doesn't wanna have anything to do with anybody does any kind of 5C activity. Of course you can module shop pledging another Power, but during that time you will simply undermine our enemies as if you were still pledged to the King. We are scoundrels in the game, but we are the fairest players in this game, and we'd like to keep it like that.

PREPARATIONS

This is one of the easiest thing to do in the game to gain merits, but it's a most sensitive activity for us and more importantly this is the activity that our 5C usually does to sabotage us, preparing bad systems. If you do not know what to prepare **please do not prepare anything at all**.

VOTES

Same goes for the votes, our 5C is usually formed by secondary account pledged from at least 16 weeks to us, so they have a lot of votes: we need you to vote right and, until told differently, PLEASE ALWAYS VOTE CONSOLIDATION.

BACKGROUND SIMULATION

A very important part of the Powerplay is to flip systems to favourable governments so our fortification triggers can be halved: we're doing a lot to fix that in our dominions, and we need you to understand how much this is important for us to be able to defend ourselves the best we can. So remember: NEVER play against Confederacy, Communism and Cooperative Minor Factions, please do not smuggle to their stations, support them doing missions only for those factions, help them overtake systems they do not control already and especially fight against FEUDAL, THEOCRACY and PRISON COLONY minor factions, they are our unfavourable governments. You can find many systems to exploit our zero-bounty rating 5 bonus, just check it out before doing your things.

DIPLOMACY

So, who can you undermine/kill? We appreciate that, a lot!

The Kumo Crew considers the ZYADA as its sworn enemy, so you can undermine freely any Empire Power (Aryssa Lavigny-Duval, Aisling Duval, Denton Patreus, Zemina Torval) or Yuri Grom, engage them in PvP activity or whatever.

We consider ourselves neutral to the Alliance, Pranav Antal and Li Yong-Rui (so it's your choice to attack them or not).

Last, we are in good relationship with the Federation, considering we've got a mutual enemy (ZYADA), so please do not attack them if possible.

HOW TO DO EASY MERITS

You can fortify Wirnako or Fan Cechehe, even over-fortify them if you need. As said before, another funny and easy way to do merits is to undermine our neighbouring systems, we're a combat Power, after all!

DISCORD

These are just the main rules to play well for the Crew, but there's much more, so don't be shy, click here and join our Discord Server , you'll find many CMDRs to play with!

Thanks for reading and fly dangerously, CMDRs! o7
