After watching Bestinsloth's video about the T-rex not ageing and the jeeps being indestructible, the latter of the two has me very worried. and here's why.
Now, what is it that JWE is trying to convey. the experience of running a Jurassic World for yourself. and up until now this game has been very very promising, not a single problem with the game what so ever. It's just after hearing about the jeeps being indestructible in the game it made me ring a few bells. having jeeps being indestructible is just not a good idea. it just takes away from the tension of the game. the quote said that raptors would chase the jeeps if they ever get inside the enclosure. But what's the point of it happening, i mean even if the raptors catch up to the jeep what are they going to do. just constantly lunge at it while the rangers are sitting in the jeep like "This is fine " like an internet meme. If this is a game selling the point that there is real danger to your park then that danger and immersion is quickly sucked out when your just ramming into fences instantly fixing them and shooting medicine into them like your the Medic from Team Fortress 2!!!. i want to feel there's a real sense that if your team dies. then you better not screw up a second time because if you do. then you'll be just another John Hammond. what i'm saying you've probably heard before but it's worth bringing up. If this little issue can be fixed then this game will be all the more greater. hell i could probably stand to wait if it's patched in a DLC i'm just saying that it makes the game just more gratifying when you escape a situation just by the skin of your teeth the kind of "OH CRAP!" moments that a game needs to be that much memorable. What do you guys think?
