So, as well all know, Powerplay is venturing closer and closer. As we rummage through the changes of the beta patch notes and such cases. I have one question.
The one thing I always understood about Powerplay was that there was base rewards within each power, and then a seperate ladder reward system for those who stand out, who devote most of their time within a power. Now we have ventured down a different route, one of allowing everyone to reach these reward levels at some point. But yet I question, what would the sensible need for Hardcore pilots be in this situation then, because at this point you changed the structure to help out the basic pilots who only provide low amount of hours so they wouldn't feel left out. However this hurt's hardcore pilots in the process because now there is no need for Combat Pilots, because they will feel that their efforts of wasting 40-60 hours in one week on one system, only to end up with the same rewards as a casual pilot who was taking his sweet time enjoying a nice tea break before a sortie.
So let me ask this, is there any actual value to Hardcore Combat Pilots anymore? Where is the friendly competition, Cooperation and Competition do co-exist, I don't know why this is a strange term. I just don't want to see my efforts go wasted when I could take my sweet time doing it like a casual pilot.
