Powerplay Faction: Arissa Lavigny-Duval The Legacy of Lavingys Legion

Let's talk for a minute about what a legacy is and why it's important. A legacy is something which is passed down. If it's an object, it's an heirloom. A connection to the past, and a way to remember something, and perhaps more importantly; the way you are remembered by those who come after you. This is why leaving a legacy is important. It's a way for us, as humans, to become immortal. To live in the future, from the past.

Lavingy's Legion has a legacy in Elite: Dangerous. It's been the home of many players who have left their indelible marks on this game.

Cmdr Na'Qan (/u/naqan) (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL0qebEnZSMy3i514MO9gaA) revolutionized PvP and practically invented Stealth combat.

Cmdr Corrigendum (/u/CMDR_Corrigendum) and Imperius (/u/ImperiusII) have played a huge part in this games Lore, RP, CG's, and diplomacy, and founded the IHC (https://www.reddit.com/r/ImperialHighCommand) in order to prevent Civil War within the Empire.

Lavingy's Legion played a central role in the Treaty of Cartoi (https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteLavigny/comments/3gjr0k/diplomatic_relationships/).

These events, in this game, will likely persist in the memory and lore for a long time after many of these players are gone. This is the Legacy of Lavingys Legion, up to this point...

...but the Legion persists. It continues into the future, and that is why with great pride I announce that I have been passed the torch of leadership. From this point forward, I commit myself to creating a new legacy as the administrative head/Magister Militum (Master of Military) of Lavingy's Legion.

My main focus will be in growing the Legion back to the powerhouse it once was; we will be focusing on Power-play, combat operations, PvP, and coordination with other Imperial powers and the IHC.

Effective immediately, the following players have been chosen as a part of my team:

IGN: FYI I decloak

Reddit: /u/fyiidecloak

FYI I decloak will be in charge of broad scope Combat Operations for Lavingy's Legion.

IGN: Dingus Maximus

Reddit: /u/Dingus_maximus

Dingus Maximus is in charge of Imperial Defense for Lavingy's Legion, and will be coordinating with our allies in other powers to ensure the safety and security of the Empire.

IGN: Under9000

Reddit: /u/Under9thou

Under9000 will be in charge of training new members for PvP combat. If you are a member of the Empire, and wish to learn PvP, this is the man you need to speak to.

IGN: Asiah
Reddit: /u/assortedgnomes

Cmdr Asiah will be in charge of training our new/inexperienced members in organized undermining and cooperation in a wing environment.

IGN: ScubaSteve
Reddit: /r/Scubalolsteve

Cmdr ScubaSteve will be in charge of recruitment for new members.

If you wish to join Lavingys Legion, please sign up at this website:http://lavignyslegion.enjin.com/profile/13305809

If you wish to join, to become a full member, we will expect you to go through basic PVP training, and Undermining training.

There are a few rules:

  1. No 5th Column(*) activities. Period.
  2. No accusations of 5th Column(*) in game, on reddit, or on any forums.
  3. No combat logging.
  4. No Solo/Private play for Power-play.
  5. Treat others how you want to be treated, respect the leaders, respect the members, and represent the group with honor, dignity, and integrity.

(*) - 5th Column, as I see it, is defined as any form of sabotaging an enemy power by joining them or their allies.

Thank you for your time.

TLDR? - I'm the new Administrative Head (Magister Militum / Master of Arms) for Lavingys Legion, and Lavingys Legion is recruiting.

Could we talk for a minute about paragraphs, white space and why they are important? Your post makes my eyes hurt. I'd like to read it but I can't get past the second sentence. Leave gaps between paragraphs and lines that aren't connected to the line above them.

Will fix just for you. The sh#t formatting is due to the way Reddit spaces work.

Edit: Fixed.. Better?
