Venture back to Hyrule and an age of magic and heroes...
A Link to the Past is perhaps my favourite game of all time, and I thought it was ripe for creating a park based on the map. I'm not quite ready for v1.0, but I'm close enough that I wanted to share some screenshots of the park (if I knew what I was doing, I would create a video that pans through the key areas of the map, with A Link to the Past music playing...but I don't [rolleyes]). I will eventually add the park to the workshop if I can (not sure on limitations of park uploads), but I still have some details to work on, including sorting out the drinks vendor drought I have brought to the park [shocked].
The majority of the park has been kept purposely sparse of scenery, in keeping with the original game. To give rides/queues a better scenery %, the scenery has been placed just underground ([mouth shut]).
At last count, I have (not including coasters/Connie Express) 22 rides (with space for more), five toilet blocks, three first aid, 13 food halls, 16 drinks vendors and five other types. I'm likely to have need of more first aid and toilet blocks. Currently at approx. 6,200 guests.
Hope you like it.
Here's a birds-eye view of the whole map
The Park Entrance is through the Swamp Ruins in the Great Swamp
A bird's-eye view of the Desert of Mystery
Guests queuing next to the giant Geldman terrain
The Desert Palace acts as both entrance and exit for the queue to Gears of Fear
Kakariko Village is home to mainly food & drink vendors
And what village would be complete without the classis weather vane?
Over in the East of the park, we have the appropriately named Eastern Palace
With Death Mountain acting as an enclosure for a pre-made coaster (I'm so bad at creating coasters [sad])
Hyrule Castle hosts more food & drink vendors inside, with of course, the new Tri-Storm in the courtyard
Finally, a short of the scenery I have created, which mimics the items to be found in the original game. The Book of Mudora, Bombos Medallion, Bottle, Lantern and Heart Piece. Many more to be completed.
