"40 years ago (in game) Humanity sent out 4 megaships that were to scout out Earth like worlds to help save Humanity if the Bubble was to fall in what was, at the time, building fears of a thargoid civil war, or in the the more esoteric, a glimpse of a coming apocalypse down the line.
This was called Project Dynasty.
Humanity has found 1 Megaship from that project, the Zurara, in the Formadine rift, and this is well known in the Formadine Rift mystery involving the Famous Cmdr Salome. It was discovered during that arc, that the crew of the megaships was never meant to return, and the entire crew was massacred out in the black for reasons unknown. Current theory is that Salome died trying to get that information out.
Humanity has also found the settlements left behind for the Zurara, and the other 2 megaships, which leaves 1 set of the settlements unaccounted for in the fourth arm.
I am proposing an expedition to a region of space, seen in the image attached, where we believe the settlements may be for the unaccounted for arm of The Dynasty Project.
This expedition will take participants almost 10K LY west of the Bubble, and will have them scan systems within a 2K LY diameter region of space to look for any evidence of Human activity, that can point us to anything out there.
With the war claiming millions of lives, it's important to remember that research is just as important as shooting our enemies. With us gaining the upper hand, and having contained and beaten back multiple of the maelstroms, it's time for us to delve more into the why of this happening, from Salvations rise, to the mysterious appearance of thargoid parts on the Kingfisher. If there's anything that the Dynasty project can teach us about whats been happening in the shadows, and behind closed doors, that the populace isnt privy to, we need to know.
I need anyone who's willing to help me search the black, as its a lot of stars over a large area. Planned departure is in a week, on Jan 3rd. We've got a couple carriers already that we are going to be fueling up that are currently stationed in T'u Tu. If we find this, we will be immortal, and forever known. But thats a side note to the data we could gather, and the light we could shed on one of the most famous mysteries in the game's lore.
