The Lost World Mercedes Benz skin for the jeeps

I think if there was an option to change the jeep skin to the camo mercedes benz from the lost world, fans would be ecstatic. It would make the jurassic park DLC feel more complete. Maybe even the RV from the film, although that seems like that would be much harder to incorporate into the game. I believe any famous vehicle or buildings you can find from the films, it's going to make the game feel that much more immersive, like the "high hide" for example. That would be awesome to see, even if it's just a scenery item.

I would LOVE the camo cars from TLW to be a ranger skin option even if it's just in JP era mode. Also the high hide could act as the JP era veiwing tower. Alterantively I was also thinking they could add a novel version of the ranger jeeps. I believe they were the same design but had green instead of red. Or maybe even make the camo Mercedes their own "observer tour" for JP era. That way both eras would have 2 types of tours for some variety. I definitely think with return to jurassic park out they should definitely consider adding some '97 building and vehicle assets.

actually, the red stripe on the ranger jeeps is taken from the novel. There's a passage where Muldoon is complaining about problems they've been having with the dinosaurs because there is so much they just don't understand about them, and he mentions that for some reason painting red stripes on the ranger vehicles keeps the Trikes from charging them.

Were they green stripes before they made them red? IDK why I just distinctly remember somewhere in the novel gray and green striped jeeps were mentioned.

nope, Muldoon just mentioned it as having been done at some point before the events of the novel. I don't recall any mention of green stripes on the jeeps.

Ok, I found the passage I was thinking of, its not exactly where I thought it was, but it still has no mention of green stripes. This passage is from when Muldoon goes down to get the rocket launcher out, and is the first mention of the ranger jeeps in the novel.
In the corner was a Jeep with a red stripe, one of two gasoline-powered vehicles—Harding, the vet, had taken the other that morning—which could go anywhere in the park, even among the animals. The Jeeps were painted with a diagonal red stripe because for some reason it discouraged the triceratops from charging the car.
