The Lost World Pteranodon

One thing I would love in JWE 2 is the original TLW Pteranodon design.

Honestly they did a great job, but before they add any more dinosaurs, I make a "plea" to the Frontier team: Please give us a real Pteranodon Longiceps, the classic and iconographic one, in which we all grew up, the one with the long crest behind the head and toothless beak.
In the first Jurassic World Evolution, I remember that at least the Pteranodon of JP3 came out as DLC, which would not be bad already, but just as the Pteranodon Geostembergia was very well made, why not create, with the same care, the famous Pteranodon Longiceps male ? (As wich that we can see in The Lost World movie)
I find it absurd to see new DLCs and so many dinosaurs, without this point being addressed and clarified.
Thank you.

I'm looking for all the posts where someone mentions Pteranodon skin from "The Lost World" 1997 film, I want to add myself to the request for the realization of this extraordinary DLC.
I just can't understand how, among so many wonderful animals, some of which, never appeared in the frinchise, the Frontier Team, could not consider the first and original Pteranodon of the Jurassic saga.
Furthermore, it is the most beautiful, the most scientifically correct one, it has no teeth in its beak, it is an elegant creature with its long and sugestive crest.
What's more, it is the Pteranodon most appreciated by true fans of flying reptiles and dinosaurs.
This year is the 25th anniversary of "The Lost World", I think it would be a very nice idea, to pay homage to the fans of the second film by Steven Spielberg, the fans of flying reptiles and the most famous Pterosaur of all, by making the DLC of his. better skin.
I would pay for it !

To show even more details, I found some very sugestive photos, showing the animatronic of Pteranodon longiceps made for "The Lost World".
There was a scene in the film to use it, but it was never filmed.
The animatronic is really well made, it shows in a very realistic way the true likeness of Pteranodon (also considering the scientific knowledge of 25 years ago ...), to note also the picnofibres.
At the end of the film, ILM's computer graphics were used to make the Pteranodon and other more vivid colors were used, except for white, including blue.

As I also wrote in the post of The Lost World, in order to explain why for our wonderful Pteranodon 1997, there are often two beautiful variations of drawings on the internet, I reply also here.
I think this image is derived from the animatronic designed by Stan Winston, really very beautiful and realistic but never used in the film.
In this representation the neck is shorter and more robust and if you want, very similar to the real Pteranodon, I find it incredible that 25 years ago it was possible to create a figure so realistic as to overshadow the subsequent Pteranodn of the franchise ...

The second image is a drawing deriving from the Pteranodon officially appeared in the 1997 film, it has a longer and thinner neck and differs in some other details, it was made in computer graphics by the "Light and Magic" industries, an absolute guarantee of high quality in the computer. graphics.
This is therefore the "official" representation of "The Lost World" 1997 Pteranodon.

Both variants are beautiful, we just wanted to explain these curiosities, but certainly if the developers of Frontier decided to satisfy us, they would choose based on their official material, with the official license, they will have access to many other sources to create the 3d models of the dinosaurs.
In any case, I would be delighted by a 1997 Pteranodon skin, in any case!

Here is a video that summarizes the changes Pteranodon underwent in the saga.
Like the creator of the video, even true Pterosaurs fans can only prefer the first original version of "The Lost World" Pteranodon, much closer to the real animal, both in appearance and behavior.
It would be really wonderful if the Frontier Team considered putting it as a DLC skin.
Furthermore, the presence of the symbol of "The Lost World" in the dinosaurs / Pteranodon database appears a little incoherent and inexplicable, given the absence of the skin of the first and original Pteranodon 1997!
If it is clear that Pteranodon's presence in "The Lost world" is being considered, why is its official skin for that movie ignored?
We hope to have good news about the creation of this skin soon, awaited by all the true "fans" of Pteranodon.
