Roller Coasters The Manta (flying stingray coaster)

This is my first legit attempt at making a decent coaster on Planet Coaster. I went with the whole flying stingray/flying coaster theme but with a Manta.

Made a Manta statue with the terrain sculpting tool. At the beginning of the coaster, I turn it upside down as it goes inside a loop, turning it back over heading into a batwing, swinging around into an underground tunnel with steam/water effects at both ends of the tunnel opening and back into the station.

I'd do a video, but the homebrew loop I had to make manually has a few jerky movements in them, no matter how I try and smooth it out. So here are pictures instead.

Whaddya think, Sirs?

Flying Stingray coaster... riders are suspended below the coaster, face down in a flying position...

That is the case till I get to the top of the hill, turn them upside down to do the loop while inside the loop. After the loop finishes I turn them back over to their normal position for the rest of the ride. So if anything, I had them upside down for 1/4th of the ride. The rest was "default" positioning so to speak. Thought that showed it in the pictures.

It might be the angle of the shot, but it looks like they are upside down leading into the cobra roll, sorry If I'm mistaken but that is indeed what it looks like.

Ahhh.. No. I just turn it over for the loop. Stingray coaster has the track above while the train/cars are hanging below. You might can see how the track turns over and then back to normal in the first picture. I turn it upside down at the top of the hill, just for the loop. After the loop finishes I do a small hill turning the track right side up again.

It is, thats the way flying coasters work, you're either facing up or down in a piece of track, it doesn't matter if its upside down or the right way up ;0

I like it. Is this your first coaster in PC? If it was me I would reduce the height a little maybe. Maybe I am wrong but the size of the loop and cobra roll appear alot smaller compared to the first drop. I have this feeling without seeing a video that riders will fly through both at such a fast speed that they won't know what just happened lol. Maybe I am wrong. Great layout. Themeing will make this look even more great :D

My humble apologies then!

No biggie! All comments and criticism welcome!

Thank you! When I started the lift hill, at first it didn't seem that big then the homemade loop was close to halfway still up, between the height of the lift track and the ground. lol I didn't really think to change it, I was too busy stressing out about the loop smoothness. Very hard to do decent loops manually, which I had to because of how I wanted the train to in the loop. Wasn't sure what else to do other than the rocks/steam/water spouts at the tunnel.. and the sculpted Manta Ray.
