What do you think of the GTX 970 memory bus is 224 bits (until 3.5Gb) instead of 256 bits ? Do you think that NVidia to lied from the beginning ?

More like misdirection, probably mostly to simplify the explanation why the GTX970 is cheaper than the GTX980. How do you print 3.5GB fast memory and 512MB slow memory on a box. The card has 4GB and can use all of it, and the bus is 256 bits - although with a slight limp.

The 970 is still a fantastic card for its price.
