The Million Credit Mission.

Yeah, the Empire Navy is for that. And I hear the Fed Navy is the same. After having it happen 4 or 5 times, I finally decided that the Imp Navy can take their promotions and shove 'em. After they've folded them till they're all sharp corners, of course.

Problem is I want a courier and a clipper and you need... rank for that. :(

Cool. I just wish missions with explorer rank required actually required you to explore. From what i've seen, they are all delivery or go-fetch missions.

You want plastic pieces of crap that'll break down all the time? No, you want an industrial monster that doesn't purr, but roars. You want a monster truck. Get a Python, or better yet, a Type 9 fit for piracy.

Arrrrrrrrrrr! If I could only strap twenty cannons to the side of a T9 that'd be a pretty sight! I'd love that. I'm a long way from a Python. A really long way.

I want a courier so I can run triple rails and sail the seven seas looking for fights. :) Slightly less firepower than my ASP but way more shields and speed.

You need rank for a Clipper. You need no rank at all for a courier, just the funds to buy one. I had one. It's a nice ship, but won't stand up to a pounding from a wing of 4 or more. But in single combat, it's deadly mean. Rig it with A class shield boosters and it will take a wing of 3. But not much more. Just be sure to have your power management set for when you deploy weps as it is a bit power hungry.

I do 1 million in minutes of trading. While you searching for your secound target iam aiming already the next million... Even with that high payout, it is still not compareable to trading.
