The most famous CMDR's in Elite: Dangerous History?

I've played this game since launch, so I've seen countless players come and go. Some stand out for their skill, leadership, accomplishments, or antics. The following list is who I would consider some of the most famous CMDR's in the Galaxy and why.

CMDR ObsidianAnt - This guy has been making Elite videos as long as I can remember, and his soothing voice and great editing skills have propelled him to Elite stardom.

CMDR itchynipples - If you played Elite in the first few months after launch, you possibly fell victim to this CMDR's ingenious and sometimes unscrupulous ways to see you dead. I certainly did, although I eventually got my revenge.

CMDR LiquidCatnip - In the first few months of the game, before I was a leader of a group or even a member of one, I knew of LiquidCatnip who founded the East India Trading Company, a group that still exists today.

CMDR S7 - Founder (I believe) and leader of the Code. There was a time in the game when sightings of the Code would send CMDR's scurrying for cover, and this guy was at the helm of those dirty and fearsome pirates.

CMDR Majinvash - While S7 ran the Code, this CMDR made a name for himself leading Code forces during the New Caribbean Pirate Wars.

CMDR Rhododendron - His fame was short-lived, but the Sag A* Sniper made a name for himself by eliminating CMDR's who made the 26,000ly journey to the center of the Galaxy.

CMDR Mobius - What do you do when the Galaxy becomes too dangerous for the casual CMDR? You make your own group to avoid the problem and gain tens of thousands of followers.

CMDR Ragnar Lodbrok - Leader of the Ronin of Amarok, he led their forces against the Empire in the months-long 34 Pegasi Wars.

CMDR Persephonius - The Sky Marshall of the Winters Wolves, he led the Federation against the Empire in the war between these two superpowers.

CMDR Sundae - Co-founder and leader of the Smiling Dog Crew, CMDR Sundae was a deadly pilot who became the Grandfather of terrorism in Elite: Dangerous.

CMDR Z4Mafia - His streams/videos and unique FDL build propelled him to a PvP stardom of such levels that the build still carries his name long after he is gone.

CMDR Rinzler 070707 - Great piloting skills and awesome instructional videos ensure that Rinzler can't be left off this list.

CMDR Harry Potter - He killed Salome in the most unscrupulous of ways. A legendary level of treachery.

CMDR Cillit Bang - While most CMDR's sought to eliminate others in the most impressive of combat ships, Cillit Bang made a name for himself doing it in a Viper Mk3. Well done sir.

CMDR Kinmob - The deadly pilot of Clipper Actual, he made people believe that the Clipper could be one of the most fearsome of combat ships.

CMDR Zarek Null - The Overlord of the Eravate and eventual Overlord of the Galaxy. He kidnapped Aisling Duval. His videos and Darth Vader voice cement him as one of Elite's most legendary super-villains.

CMDR Tony Curtis - His legendary sniping skills and mastery of K-POP have etched his name in the lore of Elite: Dangerous for good.

Honorable Mention - CMDR Nightshady - The Villain's Villain. Hated by most. Leader of the Hardline Imperial Loyalists of the 13th Legion for the past three years.

Of course my list is weighted towards combat pilots, but who would you list as the most famous CMDR's in Elite history and for what reason? Feel free to nominate yourself if you think you got the moxy!

Fly dangerous CMDR's! o7

What about CMDR Isinona, one of the first masters of FA:Off art,
with the amount of episodical vids he made and the instructional videos
on training FA: Off?

(He also won a race ;) )

The name does ring a bell, but I'm not as familiar. Of course, that's why I asked other people to contribute!

If you haven't seen Isinona's YouTube videos yet, you should take a look .... some go back a bit but are as relevant today as when he first made them. They are an inspiration also for "make your own path" in ED.

Also, don't forget:

Cmdr THRUST from Bradford .... renowned explorer, test pilot and reporter of in-game development at least one update ahead of what we currently have available to us.

Plenty of good players mentioned here, but few of them have fame in the actual galaxy. Not many other has that either.

Obsidian Ant has a station with his name. Salome was sort of a Commander, but not a real one.
There is little mention of actuall Commanders in Galnet. At least after the player submited articles stoped. Dr. Arcanonn featured quite often back then.

We need more famous commanders in the game. Not just Youtubers.

With appologies to all the other explorers who I missed who deserve to be on this list...

Famous explorers

CMDR Erimus Kamzel
CMDR Dr.Kaii
CMDR Jackie Silver
CMDR Zulu Romeo - First to Sag A*
CMDR Ozric
CMDR Eisen
CMDR Allitnil - He has been there first
CMDR Zenith Ddraiglas

Other

CMDR Vectron - Owns Power Play and everything to do with it. Whatever you think you know, he knows more and has a spreadsheet to prove it

Interestingly, I think such a list will vary depending on the circles you play in. You say your first post list are famous OP? I've never heard of half of them.

Lack of options to interact with the game and write your name in the sand via plasma-accelerators ;)

Fame is out of game stuff. Nobody hears your story ingame, except a few set examples
of manually controlled cgs.
