The multi star system travel problem

The game allows only the biggest star in a 'star system' to be frame shifted to. However after supercruising to another star for a mission that took about half a hour, I then refused to even look at any missions at the station there because there was no way Im coming back rhere. Im thinking this needs to be fixed.

The supercruise map currently can be entered and exited from anywhere, to realspace or to frameshift to another system.

My proposal, you lock onto a star in a multistar system, allow for a minimun distance, eg 15k LS. Then hit frameshift. You exit the map, have just the entry and exit frameshift transistions, then reappear at the targeted star.

It is more about where the nav beacon is. It is not always the biggest star that gets it and I've been to countless where the nav beacon is around the smallest.

Yu are particular right: its not the biggest star, its the heavyest! So a white dwarfe can have way more mass than a regular star and you will drop out there.
If the nav becon could force ships to drop out at it, wholdent it be around the remote star whene all stations are there?

I HATE having to jump directly to stars, period.

My favoured solution would be to jump to Lagrange points instead - perhaps selectable ones, at that (L1, L2 etc.).

This cuts the SC distances in half, with the fantastic bonus of dropping you out of hyperspace into the transcendent serenity of a lovely clear sky. Like being the first person in the pool, or a Catalonian beach first thing in the morning. All is calm, all is still, and nobody's SMASHING A STAR IN YOUR FACE.

something needs to be done, getting to some stars/stations etc takes way too much time, (ive seen people try 45 mins +). And its not just time doing boring stuff, but doing NOTHING. This will turn players away. The stations there will see no players take missions or trade runs etc. They are essentially waste. Ive seen too many forum review/youtube comments that give up on the game because they are sick of staring at a screen doing nothing.
Some say they are impatient (maybe a few mins, but 30 mins + ?? ), or it makes the game more realistic. But it is definately alot less fun. Micro jumps needed.
