The Navigation Tab

EDIT: Sorry, a very similar topic was already posted earlier today:

I actually did a search prior to posting, but didn't see a relevant thread.

The Navigation Tab doesn't list all of the systems within your ship's current jump range. There seems to a set number of objects that can be displayed in the Navigation Tab. Once that number is reached, other systems aren't listed even if in range, thus making you navigate via the Galaxy Map. I would like to be able to set this upper limit myself, or just list all systems in jump range.

If you really want to be nice, you could make one subpage on the Navigation Tab for In-System objects and another for Other Systems (within jump range).

I sent in ticket about that on the 28th Dec, still no reply, wouldn't hurt for you to do the same. the nav list seems to be limited to 32 entry's, not helpful in a busy system when you have a jump range of 28ly so you have to use the Galaxy map like you said, the nav list would be more useful if it displayed all the destination within the jump range of your ship. Bit like having a sat-nav that only shows you the destinations within a few hundred miles of your current location. Maybe they will improve it a futre update if they can, fingers crossed.

Yeah, I have a long trade route, and it's annoying to have to plot each point via the Galaxy Map. It takes longer to load and you have to type the name of the system you want. Some of the system names are quite long, and are often grouped with other systems with nearly identical names, differing only by a digit or a single letter. And while you're typing in this long string of characters, trying to be accurate, you often get torn away by an Interdiction. Then you have to escape/fight for your life, and if you live, you get to open up the Galaxy Map and then start the process over.

yea im olso chaffing at this. my trade route is 1 jump away 13.3ly. but my destination is never in the list. its getting boring haveing to type each destination back into the list each time i want to jump. if they dont want to add more slots. possably a tab to collaps local assets down to the star name. or maybe even add a personal slot. i just wanna jump back and forth between these two systems with the least button presses possable^^
