The New Alien game gets its title

True. Though that, I would say, isn't the best measure stick. That game should have been burried in Sierra Nevada and never mentioned again.

Yup, spot on. I would be really happy when they would release a new Alien game which scares the living snot out of me like Alien: Isolation or Metro 2033 Redux did.
That must not necessarilly be a shooter but if it is one it would also be fine with me. Just please, dear dev's make it good this time.

The Isolation nailed the feeling 100%. It may have been a bit flawed when comes to game mechanics to some (not me, I loved the way it played), but the feeling of constant tension with an occasional jump scare and fight for life was exactly what an Alien game needs and what we are expecting of it.
So yeah, if that feeling is present, I will probably play it, even if it's a stupid FPS.

What I'd like to see is a modern day remake of the old ZX Spectrum Alien game using the Isolation engine.

It was ridiculously far ahead of its time, much like Bethesda's 'The Terminator' game.

I just want another, not-broken-for-so-long-everyone-stops-playing-it Aliens Vs Predator.

I don't like shooting the aliens. I like being the Aliens. :D

So much fun in multiplayer. The amount of people who never look up is staggering. Needless to say, my pet Xenomorph was well fed.
At least until a Predator came along. :D

"I am a big fan of real survival horror and especially the 2 first films (Alien and Aliens)! I find myself completely in this universe thanks to this game.
It is simply the same principle as Doom3: we advance in complete darkness, we do not know what will fall on us; technically it's very pretty and ultra fluid but especially it's the soundtrack that's perfect, every sound, sound, background music, sound effects of computers ... everything is well tuned and optimized; we really believe it!"

Apparently this is yet another lame mobile type affair.

They nuked it from orbit to be sure.

Yep. Just watched Heel vs Babyface. It's a bloody mobile game for 4 quid.
God. Dammit.
They just took an amazing game which amassed a nice following and will try to milk it dry.
The industry goes to the dogs...

The base subject of your signature seems appropriate :)

I now understand why Razer & RoG entered the mobile hardware market.

So far all "gaming" phones have been quite idiotic. So as 99% of games available for mobile. So...eh. What's the point? At least if they tried to make good games, which is totally possible. But it will probably be another "pay to skip 24 hour waiting time before making next move" type of garbage.

Haha, after the sudden hype when the trademark got out, I can totally picture them drawing straws to decide who was going to go out on stage to explain that it was in fact a mobile game. :D
