THE ALLIANCE THAT NEVER WAS

It has become to clear to me, among other pilots of the Alliance, that the legislative body, the state, bureaucrats, executives and Admirals no longer serve the interests of the Alliance's diverse population. Over an extended period of time I among others have seen, that while the Alliance has advocated democracy, claimed to be a champion of humanity and 'ethical capitalism', among a variety of it's forms...it has cooperated with other superpowers in acts of genocide and worked against the interests of the people in favour of the Elite. While claiming to be a democracy, the systems have no say in the election of the prime minister, there is no election, six of the most powerful Admirals in the Alliance hold sway over democratic freedoms of everyone else. We have no control over the Central State, neither do we need it. The Alliance was formed to be a mutual agreement of self defence against Federation and Empire forces of Capitalism and Imperialism. Neither are we in need of the Corporations, while claiming that their Industrial prowess is needed against our common enemy, they control our governments and Freedoms. We found evidence in the Formidine Rift... they wanted to leave us here in the bubble to die.
We are the pilots and workers, who have greased the wheels of the Alliance and made it prosper. It is thanks to us that the Alliance is defiant against attempts by the Federation and Empire, no efforts made by the 6 jackboots of the Council... it was us. Without us the Alliance would not be where it is in political capital now, with out us it is powerless and impotent. We are the Commanders that have sacrificed so much for Democracy and Freedom, only to see Edmund Mahon working with our enemies. Condemning the Wage Slavery of the Federation while enabling it back at home, while working with President Zachary Hudson closely when concerning INRA. He claims to be against Communism, yet he gains support from a variety of Vanguard parties. He claims we must learn from the Thargoids, yet latest controversial evidence denies this. The Alliance, the Federation and Empire all partook in INRA operations, against the hostile Klaxians understandably... but to the tenth degree of stupidity also against our potential allies the Oresrians. They thought that genocide against both with the use of the 'Mycoid Virus' would be more convenient, an attempt to wipe out such a civilisation is mind boggling. Not only as Ammonia based life forms could they think 10 times faster than us at electro conductive speeds, the fact that Ammonia based life is possible is ground breaking and should be cherished. The Alliance was complicit in genocide, and thus committed warcrimes against a Sentient race.
The Oresrians have been kind enough to show us that they do exist, they have demonstrated their technological superiority, by pulling us out of hyperpsace, scanning us and then leaving us to our business. Then there are the various massacres of Federal convoys we have been seeing... do not commit genocide against them. They have been watching over us since first contact with the hostile Klaxians. They showed us the way to their Barnacles and have clearly been willing to share them with us, and have now led us to their bases. Despite the fact that our species nearly drove them into extinction... they have shown us kindness and charity. Edmund Mahon is right in this regard, we do have a lot we could learn from the Thargoids. Yet what is actually going to happen, congratulations, the Oresrians know what Capitalism and Imperialism is, it is a threat to the Thargoid species and their hive, so while they make their retreat they will effortlessly cut through the Superpowers like Cake... including the Alliance. Klaxians on the other hand only recognise all Carbon based life forms as a threat. We need the Oresrians to stay in the bubble and fight along side us, something has given Klaxians the advantage?
Even worse is news closer to home. Tsu Singh was an ex Alliance operative, loyal to the people of the Alliance. When she discovered the Alliance was collaborating with the Federation, it shook her to the core. The Alliance in turn left her at the mercy of bounty hunters, leaving one of it's own to die, what if it was one of us in her place? This is controversial news from a recording of the late Salome, ex-imperial, ex-bourgeoisie, you may question her motives, but there is clear evidence the Alliance does has a callous regard for the commanders that serve it.
The Alliance state no longer and never did serve it's people, it is run by Corporations, same as the Federation, ruled by Fleet Admirals, same as the Empire. There is but a mere Illusion that the Alliance is a democracy, only being true in corners such as the Lave Cluster. 'The Alliance' is no longer a mutual Alliance, we are but a second Federation with a nicer glazing. The Alliance state and it's Prime Minister, Edmund Mahon, have been complicit in the further Corporatisation and Militarisation of the Alliance, cooperation in Military ops with the Feds and Imps... and Genocide on Sentients .With the Oresrians coming for justice, the Empire, Federation and Alliance... are no longer legitimate. We are not advocating conflict with the Alliance, we want to form a new Alliance out of systems that are willing to secede and form a society without borders. We believe in free borderless association and collaboration with our allies.
“The Alliance of Independent Systems is built upon a single defining principle and that is one of freedom. The freedoms we enjoy range from our personal freedoms as inscribed in the Bill of Human Rights to the freedom of societies and even planets within the Alliance.”
Yet Independent Communist systems and Cooperatives inside Alliance space are frowned upon? How can we enjoy a Bill of Human Rights if the council of Admirals thinks that sending in the fleet without legislative authority, into even a non-Alliance independent system is an acceptable action.

Thus we see fit to remove the burden of wage slavery, militarism and capitalism. The birth of the Alliance came from the defiance and rebellion of the people and the blood of those that fought in it's founding conflict.

I agree with you Mahon, but these are still hollow words. You were chosen without public referendum by the council of Admirals, the Alliance's very own tyrants. The Alliance now merely promotes the capitalism of the Federation and protected Vanguards, Capitalism and Imperialism is the tyranny, it is our duty to oppose them. Yet, despite his claims... the Alliance became them.
What does the New Alliance advocate?
-A decentralised, non heirachical, non kyrachical form of interstellar form of organisation.
-Direct people controlled Democracy and decision making
-A mutual agreement of defence between systems, based on well maintained peoples militias
-Organisation controlled by Workers and Peoples associations/Cooperatives on an interstellar, system, planetary and local level. This makes up the economic structure, the war economy is also a cooperative effort.
-Despite what the Exemplars claims, we are for freedom of faith, uninhibited or fettered by Religious institutions.
-An end to wage slavery and all slavery, everybody gets their wage labour’s value.
-Anarchism/Communism is a core political philosophy among some of our comrades, others advocate Decentralised Socialism, Muncipalism, Communalism, Mutualism, Syndicalism. We have a wide variety of leftist philosophies and are accepting of pluralism, since it will make up this new Alliance. We however reject old Reactionary Philosophies of the Federation, Empire and the Vanguard, especially capitalism and have a preventative attitude towards Fascism. We are all Intersectionalists and Interstellarists. Everybody here wants a better Alliance and future for humanity/Thargoid/AI alike.
-We are against the use of 'intelligence', 'secret police' and security forces, state and private against the people.
-We advocate revolutionary change, but disagree with the ideas of 'reform' and 'incremental change', especially in times when radical change is necessary.
-Communal Ownership, redistribution of private property, ownership of the means of production and space faring.
-A fully realised post scarcity economy, seen in Manite but fully rendered throughout the bubble. Artificial Scarcity is surprisingly maintained in space, despite our access to the vast recourse of the cosmos and fast jump drives.
-To those according to their needs, to those according to their ability,everybody has needs, the economy of post scarcity is focused on the needs of the people. The abundant is free, yet we take what we need.We do not let the quest for financial gain control our lives, neither do we believe in the hoarding and waste of capitalism. We seek to better ourselves through our humanity, social relations and creativity.
-Recognition of interstellar Sentient rights, peace and relations with theOresrians. We will stand with the Oresrians against the Klaxians.
We recognise Artificial Intelligences as Sentient beings. We eventually wish to help bring an end to the hostilities between human and Thargoid, between Oresrian and Klaxian.
-No more expensive rebuys, when we lose our ships they are either printed back at base or freely given by the association we are a member of. Any other conditions have a 99% rebuy discount.
-A Cooperative Interstellar Shipyard Initiative, designing new technologies and space frames to help us explore space and the unknown, and to defend ourselves from the Federation, Empire and the coming Klaxian invasion.
-The development and distribution of Matter/AntiMatter Reactors, Universal Exploration Modules, EMDrives and Beam Arrays. We have no need of Sirius Corp, Core Dynamics, Zorgon, Falcon Delacy, Gutamaya or Lakon... we can do better than them.
-More BGS development, more complexity to factions, more varieties. Stalinsts are no longer considered communist factions, thugs are no longer described as 'Anarchy', unoccupied systems are referred to as 'unoccupied' instead of 'Anarchy'.
-Resettlement of the fleeing Oresrians in the bubble, allowing them to take up onunoccupied worlds in the Ammonia Goldilocks Zones.
-We do not advocate conflict with the Alliance, we encourage systems to vote, but will condemn any attempts by the Alliance to interfere in the democratic process or any use of force. If the Alliance is willing to do this then seizing systems by peaceful revolution is reasonable force. On the otherhand if the Alliance lives up to it's humanitarian reputation then it will be congratulated.
-We are pushing for the independence of the Lave Cluster.
-One day maybe the CIU, Border Coalition and other independents will associate with the new Alliance, but will remain independent and connected by free association. There is no actual membership, all those that associate with the new Alliance are freely associated, not bound by pledges or borders and are allowed to leave the association if they feel it necessary. At the end of the day association with the new Alliance does not really matter, relations with one another do.
-We seek to be represented as an independent powerplay faction, through highlighting the need for independent faction powerplay features.
