The New Expedition

Well... when I returned from Colonia some time ago, some of you wondered how long I'd stand to be in the bubble.. well.. until today. :)
I've had plenty of bubble fun doing CGs, dodging pirates and murder psychos, (and occationally being robbed by pirates)... but now I'm off into the black again!.. Heading vaugely Formidine-Rift-Wards... going to visit the new bases in Heart and Soul.. then.. who knows?!.. :)

I'm only 600LYs outside Bubble now.. and allready found a whole system full of untagged gas giants. It is ridiculus how unclaimed stuff is if you don't go corewards... :)

I have come back to the game, and am continuing outwards towards the Heart & Soul.. space is nice and apparently cleansed from cheat-engineered modules.. and I ran across a facinating little planet orbiting 6ls from its star.. and I just had to stop and sit there watching it swing around... :)

I have made it to the Final Destination of the Zurara. It is amazing how much is allready tagged around there... I am now pondering where to go next...

After leaving the Zurara I headed rimwards, and I have now come face to face with the void. Over 41kLYs out from SgrA*.... Behind me is the Milky Way Galaxy... in front of me is only Void. The Void. Empty, vast. Void. How it does call to me. I will hovever not fall for this call, I shall turn Corewards here... I want to see some stars close to each other again!...

I decided to go back to the bubble for the anticipated Thargoid Events of 26th of September. Heading for the Heart & Soul right now. Came across a nice plateau of ice on the way. The local scenery made me feel small.

I hurried back, and sold my data for a bit over 30Mcr.. and am now holed up in Obsidian Orbital, with the Orca re-painted yellow, and full of reinforcement packages and lazers... there's alot of people gathering here... :)

So ends this Expedition.
