What ship do you want to see for the next Beta version?

I wonder which ship is the next to be added to the game. We now have 8 flyable ships in the Beta. Its supposed to be 25 ships when the retail version is released. Do you think this is doable? And have Frontier maybe finished some ships which they are holding back to release in future beta versions?

And finally a poll to vote on which ship you are most eagerly awaiting. For me, its still the Fer-De-Lance.

I forgot the Moray Star boat. Well I had to forget something :D

Eagerly awaiting the Imperial Courier, time and space have their place, it is all about getting there.

That is a possibility. But I guess they want us to test most of the ships before releasing the game. At least the smaller ones up to the Cobra Mk 3. I could understand if they want to keep ships like the Fer-De-Lance and the Imperial Courier "hidden" until the retail version comes out. To have some gems in store for us Alpha/Beta testers to.

I would have voted for the Krait but I happen to know, from reliable sources, that it's not going in.... So, I voted for the Python instead.

Do you mean not going in the next build, or not going in period? (Which would be a terrible shame as it was a good looking ship).

I'd love the Imperial Trader, it was my favourite ship in Elite because it was an obvious homage to the Liberator from Blake's 7.

However, a dev confirmed that the Imp Trader is not going to be in the game - probably for precisely the above reason as a US TV company has purchased the wrights to Blake's 7 and seems intent on making an American version (sigh).

Asp for me as the next one.

Wonders if there will ever be a mark 4 Cobra, that might be worth the money.

Viper performance with a boot and some range ;)

They'll need to add more than one if they want to get them all in before the gamma (assuming public release is still on track for this year).

Python is a good vote. I think it will be in the same class as the anaconda. Maybe a little bit smaller, but nonetheless lethal in the right hands.

The Krait out for retail version. Thats sad, it would be an excellent ship for early pirates or NPC cannon fooder. Maybe we will see it later in an expansion or patch :)
