Do you expect official TeamSpeak server for players ??

Voice chat it's a good idea, but players rarely use this. They generally organize their servers. However, more and more gaming companies are organizing such servers (TeamSpeak server) themselves for their players.

I can go to the server, create a temporary channel for me, my friends or create a permanent channel for my alliance.

I think it's a good idea.

Would you be willing to rent slots on the server ? (I wouldn't, but that's just me)

Reason I ask is that whilst on the whole TS doesn't use much bandwidth, if 30K+ players all logged on that would use some BW and from the way in which ED is being made I suspect FD are keen to keep costs down.

Such server are made available to players for free. At one time is not so many players on them. These servers are for the less organized players.

Well, there's here that's free - sure - but if you meant "official" then someone's got to pay for the BW .. that would FD .. and that's not free (to them) ... could be argued that some of the profits could be pumped into paying for them - guess that all depends on the demand.

ETA: I probably wouldn't use it, but I am not adverse to the idea for others

I have a 35 user Vent server that I ould upgrade if more people joined us. vent3.gameservers.com port 4223 pass simba
