The oldest stars and therefore the age of the Milky way

A long time ago I found a Neutron star that was 13.065 million years old.

It made the record for the oldest Neutron star, but I've since noticed that others have found stars with the exact same age, but none older.
This therefore must be the age of the milky way?
Anyone found anything older, or am I correct in this assumption?

There are stars in the real Milky Way that are about 13.6GYr old (e.g. SMSS J031300.36-670839.3) or nearly as old as stars can be. Whether anything in game is that old? If there is then it should be pretty rare.

The Milky Way as a galaxy recognisable as our own is not necessarily as old as the oldest stars currently in it of course.

Iirc, I remember seeing 18 or 19 billion year old stars when elite was released. This obviously caught my eye as seemingly incorrect. Perhaps they fixed that. Anyone else see that?
