The Ontogeny System

Hello Frontier
This applies to habitat animals. The ontogeny system/series is a process, unless you know already, is the process where in-game creatures such as dinosaurs like with Saurian and Prehistoric Kingdom, the animals go through gradual growth from the distinctive infant stage, gradually towards adult maturity. This would be great to see, because with particularly the lions, with male cubs, you don't see the gradual development of the mane as it grows and that is something I personally want to see and I can implement into my zoos, I feel it would give players greater insight into the growth of animals.

Kind regards
RPR

If Blue Meridian and Crytivo (Prehistoric Kingdom), Urvogel Games (Saurian) and Afterthought (The Isle), If these companies who have made dinosaur and prehistoric animal games have been able to implement this system of growth, than why can't Frontier do the same with this, the game I was keeping up to date with since it was first announced

As Dr Ian Malcolm said "Life Finds A Way"

This would have been a great feature in game especially with male lions. It’s one I can live without fortunately as I feel there’s more important things to add in PZ at the moment. Now the makers of PK have done a amazing job and seem like there’s been no expense spared. I’m not saying frontier has not done a great job also but competing titles will look at PZ and see what it has to offer and unfortunately what it’s lacking and take advantage of it if possible. If I was a competitor I would. Fortunately I don’t think they’ll be a sudden spike in zoo simulation games but I guess it just depends on how successful they are. And that brings me to my point if those are simply not worth the efforts because they weren’t implemented pre launch is the underwater swimming animations not possible also? I hate to keep harping on this but believe me this is not going to go away. And PK has plans for aquatic dlc at some point and that’s when the comparisons are really going to be debated. Now I gotta say we can keep locking these threads as soon as someone questions the direction of PZ but it’s not doing any good nor is the poster doing anything wrong imo. We are not slamming the game as I for one have mentioned PZ is easily my favorite game but these requests and needs for this game are simply not going to go away.

This seems an odd sentiment. A little competition would be great for innovating features that the community would love to see but Frontier has elected to not deliver, as well as force Frontier to provide more ongoing content for PZ to stay relevant. I'm still absolutely flabbergasted that a major company would let the one year anniversary of a successful game pass without any update (especially given Frontier's precedent for free content downloads for all there other games). Unfortunately I don't think we will be seeing any new zoo simulators anytime soon, but a little competition is always a good thing for the consumer.

Sorry I should’ve been more clear lol. Fortunately for frontier is what I meant to say. And by that I mean because then the short comings of PZ would be brought up even more. I’m all for more zoo games. Some competition would be great. And to frontier and the devs. By no means am I trying to belittle the hard work and time you’ve put into this game. You’ve done a amazing job. But I and many others definitely feel these requests are desperately needed and will only help and improve this already great game.
