Anyone bother spending the credits on this thing yet? I'd love to know if it's any good or just a joke ship for people who wanna have a good view of space

There are future plans for this type of transport ship currently it's pointless imho

I wonder how many people have made the mistake of getting one thinking it's a Python FDL related ship that would be horrid to accidentally purchase and realize the thing is just for show lol
I had the credits for it and couldn't decide between getting the Orca or Fer-de-Lance, since they're similar prices. I just wanted a giant luxury ship aha
So I tried the orca first and I loved it! it looks really luxurious, flies really nicely and I like the way it sounds. However the jump range is not good (especially since I was in an asp beforehand), its not the best at trading but can have decent sized cargo, and combat was ok for me.
I then traded the Orca in to try out the FDL and again I loved it. Its really responsive, still fairly luxurious, looks great and is brilliant in a fight. However its jump distance is also quite low and it has very few internal compartments so you can only do light trading it.
So yeah the Orca doesn't look too great practically speaking at the moment, since its out classed by other ships in most areas, but its not completely useless and I really like it; the way how it feels just sits right with me. So its worth trying out if you have the money!
