Greetings,
Well being a Trader grinder to support my combat needs at first I thought great more pages I'll have to view to what I need and who to support. Thus a slower process in the game. Not good. I needed those quick mission pages to advance in rank etc. Outfitting and Shipyard didn't help much either as so far I cannot tell the max class of equipment my ship can handle versus seeing what gear is available. I'm probably missing something but for now I use the Coriolis Shipyard to remind me of my ship's class capabilities.
But getting into the story lines I find these additions work well and add to the environment. I can quickly alt-right with my ship at anytime checking the status of my relationships and comparing them to the missions offered. Given my game status there are also a lot of multi-million credit missions which I haven't tried yet. The problem is that I don't want to lose a well outfitted Imperial Cutter with a 12 million rebuy for all the changes in the game...and there have been a lot of them!
Thankfully we can now pay to have other ships transported to the station we are currently at. Thus I can bring in other less costly ships to experiment with the new game parameters. Every time FD upgrades the game with new additions they enhance the game also adding more danger which makes losing a very expensive ship even more costly. Thus if one does not keep up with the changes in the game parameters your billion dollar ship could be blown away at your next system arrival.
Thus I tread lightly and play with the new changes before I take my fleet into harms way. Maybe not the best solution but I always wanted an offline solo version of the game. But that is another story...
Regards
