I found this system Arapipi in a state of War between two local factions. Two other local factions are also in War with neighboring systems which isn't obvious with the system map info. The final three factions in the middle of all this has related combat missions probably to protect their interests. It might be a 'perfect storm' for combat players but I don't do this a lot. Tons of stacking massacre missions. Consider me a noob.
I came here for the goal of getting my AI SLF pilot hired from Harmless currently 86.2% Dangerous to Elite. I brought over my Corvette, a multicrew version of a Krait MK II and even my Type-10 with all long range beams designed for AFK in Low Rez sites. They all work well in a High Combat Zones but require different flying combat skills for each. None of them can be left alone as two of the three are large ships and the enemy will soon attack with multiple ships. I find that they do this more in medium CZs. Go figure.
Then I decided let's take a break and get allied with all the local factions in Arapipi. I can later start up again playing both sides to get my AI pilot to Elite. I transported a cargo Python which is excellent for quickly getting allied with factions. I added 384T cargo capacity to my Corvette taking out the fuel scoop, fighters and hull reinforcements but keeping the 10,348MJ on the shields. My shields never go down with NPCs so why bother with all these hull and module reinforcements? I don't need any of this against NPC targets but I have played in Open mode for the last month so some PvPer could blow me away before I jump out. I'm not into PvP.
So a suggested combat system. Others may have better ones. Meanwhile my AI gal whose name is Valentina would love to meet-n-greet other players as friends. If you encounter Hooplah on the PC text or voice me. I don't attack unless you do. I don't do Discord. Then we will see...
