The Pilot explains how Thargoids are Bees (in Succulents)

So plants use Fibonacci series as an underlying genetic driver to produce the recognizable patterns we observe.

The contention that Thargoids drive plants is interesting, but evolutionary - mutualistic relationships between pollinators and their selected plant they have specialized to work with is not one where the pollinator orchestrates the construction of the plant.

They modify each other through time, resulting in behavioral and morphological specializations and niche expressions.

Yes, there are ants that cultivate and harvest fungi. There are zooxanthellae that live within other organisms and provide the fruits of photosynthesis. There are tons of examples of commensal / mutualistic relationships but they are always examples of co-evolution.

We don't have any examples that I am aware of where the pollinator actually directs the construction of the partner. We modify living organisms to suit our needs, we do not create it from the ground up.

It is probably more fair to say that the relationships between Thargoid ships and the Thargoids inhabiting them co-evolved over many many millions or billions of years.

We have many in-game examples of organisms living in space, and some of them even express behaviors when different stimuli are introduced. It is not a big leap to infer that relationships exist between these organisms, and in some cases, they may support one another. I'm sure the Thargoids have a similar ancestral development with their ships and barnacles.

Its a trypophobic nightmare wrapped in alien sauce. Don't do it kids!
Really. This is freaking disgusting. More than Pipa Pipa toads birth video. I think I'm quite resistant for this kind of views. It usually ends with itching and goose bumps on my body, but i think but some people may be more sensitive.
