The Pilots' Declaration of Independence
A Proclamation of Armed Resistance And Revolution Against “The Club”

We the freedom fighters of “The Independent Pilot's Resistance” formally declare our independence from the corruption of The Pilot's Federation and The Puppet Superpowers. We free commanders can no longer sit idly by as a vast and powerful conspiracy that usurps humanity's right to self determination through political assasination, that delays our scientific progress and understanding of life beyond humanity, that kills to maintain its secrecy, grows more powerful by the day.

We swear to seek justice for those who came before us and lost their lives to uncover the truth in The Formidine Rift, Hawkins Gap, Conflux and aboard the Zurara. Those who died on the desperate flight to bring the proof of the conspiracy to Teorge. Those who died aboard the Survey Vessel Victoria's Song, The Stargazer and The Pandora at the hands of The Club’s assassins S:VI Black Flight. Those who have been subjected to brutal inhumane experimentation and died within the secret laboratories of Janus Inc. In their memory we declare ourselves an armed resistance and a revolution against the conspiracy and its collaborators.

Let it be clear that while we renounce our fealty to the corrupt administrations of the Puppet Superpowers, we pledge ourselves to the protection and freedom of all people within The Federation, The Empire, The Alliance and Independent Powers.

We henceforth will fight as a fifth column within The Puppet Superpowers and The Pilots Federation until such time they have been freed from the control of the galactic conspiracy known as "The Club" and these institutions are rightfully returned to the people they are meant to serve. To this end we will rout out the corruption at the heart of human society by force and resist the machinations of this conspiracy and restore the integrity of the institutions that are under "The Club's" control.

For Freedom and Liberty Commanders!
Aleister Fox
Rebel Councilor of The Independent Pilot's Resistance

The idea is interesting, and if I remember correctly, Solome insisted on it, but I don't understand how this can be done technically. To challenge all superpowers? How will this be expressed? advancing the minor faction on it will also become a superpower? And how can you abandon the Federation of Pilots if all ships have firmware, for example, prohibiting entry into closed regions and even access to Shinrarta requires exactly the rank of the Pilots Federation. Unclear

It is unlikely that a direct campaign to claim the puppet superpowers territory would be achievable nor do we wish to rule over anyone. We will instead expose the machinations of the club conspiracy to as many commanders as possible by direct resistance to their CGs and by striking at their collaborators.

In Salome's last message to commanders she said: "Blaze a Trail. Visibility is the one thing they cannot abide." We intend to blaze a trail that will burn so bright it cannot be ignored.

Eitherway, we are done being pawns... One way or another we will expose and defeat "The Club"...

Rise Up Commanders!

Given the stagnation in gaming lore, that wouldn't be a bad thing. And if Drew got involved in this event, it would be interesting. He certainly does not know all the points about the Club, but he knows Solome very well. This is his character and he knows her goals better than any of us. to hold some kind of action or event so that the developers pay attention and help create the conditions for this. All it takes is to negotiate with Drew @drew and gather around him

Out Of Character: We would be delighted if @drew took interest in our project, but we are also confident that the conspiracy and lore communities can accomplish this by working together.

🏏 Club The Club, I say! 🏏

Player-driven initiatives are the best! Good luck and have fun!

Good player-driven initiatives attract lots of good participants. I've been involved with one in The Dark Wheel project for a long time and we have seen our share of 'heavyweights' drop in and make really valuable, kind contributions. Let it happen organically. It will.

ooc; Thanks for your support, the main goal is to have fun and play a part in the story.

We successfully ran our first even to help fight for New Kuwembaa Labour and it was good fun. Spent time with everyone working the CG then split up into groups half rebels half playing feds for an RP scenario;

The goal for the RP scenario was feds needed to install malware into NKL's comms network and the rebels had to keep them out of a room that had "comprimised data point" which the feds needed for their mission. We all had allot of fun.
