The potential Animal Packs for every continent

Since we just received our first animal pack with southeast Asian animals, I wanted to take the opportunity to outline potential packs we can get from every continent. As an animal lover I love the animal packs and prefer them to our past packs but I understand the need for scenery. I hope Frontier can provide enough of both packs or potential bigger more expensive expansions (cough cough Aviary and Aquarium expansions cough cough) to satiate both sides of the fanbase.

Broader Asia (First since we just got a southeast Asia pack)

1. Prezwalki's Horse
2. Tibetan Antelope or Siaga
3. Takin
4. Blackbuck
5. Tanuki
6. Small Clawed Otter
7. Gibbon or siamang
8. King Cobra

I feel like this is the best of I can do currently considering the sheer amount of wildlife in Asia I didn't add a Leopard or another cat but it could be swapped in if you so choose

Africa (Most likely our next Animal Pack)

1. Black or White Rhino
2. Ratel
3. Meerkat
4. A Baboon
5. Grey Crowned Crane or Secretary Bird
6. Caracal
7. Fennec Fox
8. Naked Mole Rat

I feel like I could've added the Dromedary, Scimitar oryx, or Addax but the spots are limited and I went with animals I personally prefer (i.e. Caracal over Serval) and I really wish we could have both Rhinos :(

Oceania (We really need more Oceania animals)

1. Platypus
2. Tasmanian Devil
3. Matcshie's Tree Kangaroo
4. Emu
5. Kiwi
6. Wombat
7. Eastern Grey Kangaroo or Wallaby or Wallaroo
8. Frilled Lizard or Thorny Devil

Our most needed pack as Australia's still lacking. I made it Oceania so I could add other animals like the Kiwi and Tree Kangaroo

South America (Missing animals as well)

1. Maned Wolf
2. Spectacled Bear
3. Bush Dog
4. Capybara
5. Any Sloth
6. Tree Porcupine
7. Howler Monkey
8. Blue Poison Dart Frog

I think this pack would give South America the roster it deserves. I think I might have missed some animals so please let me know below.

Europe (The most underrepresented region in the game

1. Iberian Lynx
2. Ibex
3. Red Fox
4. Red Deer
5. Musk Ox
6. Wolverine
7. Moose
8. Fire Salamander

I feel like this is the best potential pack from Europe. We'll probably just get a regular pack for Europe but this opens the door for more unique animals from North America while still getting the European heavy hitters

North America

1. Cougar
2. American Alligator
3. American Beaver
4. Arctic Fox
5. Mountain Goat or Elk (Wapiti)
6. Sea Otter
7. Sea Lion or Walrus
8. Alligator Snapping turtle

I could've added other animals like armadillo's skunks or ferrets or the Black Bear but I went with this list because it's more unique.

Antarctica (I'm adding it for fun, probably least likely pack. Most animals would fit better in an aquarium expansion)

1. Chinstrap Penguin
2. Leopard Seal
3. Elephant Seal
4. Adelie Penguin
5. Weddel Seal
6. Emperor Penguin
7. Ross Seal
8. Spider Crab

The Penguin and Seal pack basically lol. If we had Aquarium animals I would've added the Orca or something but with PZ as is this list was hard to make

Any suggestions you'd change or add? Let me know below

Nice lists, I’m not sure that a Europe-only pack is necessary though - as you note, some of the species are also found in either North America or Asia... perhaps a ‘Eurasian pack’ or a ‘Northern continents’ pack in addition to a 4+1 Europe pack or the inclusion of European species in non-geographic pack(s) (eg threatened species) would be sufficient to include the key European species.

I certainly agree that Oceania needs more species - I’d like both the Grey Kangaroo and at least 2 smaller macropods (e.g. Yellow footed rock wallaby and Tasmanian wallaby) too. Possibly also Echidna - there are more than enough good additions to make another 4+1 pack as well as an 8+1 pack... alternatively, many could be included in a non-geographic pack (eg threatened species, birds, islands (though this is somewhat geographic), etc.

Yea that was just for the idea of a 7+1 pack for every continent. In all reality I think we will get a 4+1 pack for Europe. Probably will be :

Lynx
Ibex
Deer species
Musk ox or red fox or something lol

Very good pack. I think Europe can perfectly have more than 4 animals in a pack. I would change the musk ox for a beaver, because adding an aquatic animal would be cool. Also having 3 aquatic animals in the North America pack (sea lion, alligator and beaver) might be too much work for the devs, so it could be good for them to put the beaver in Europe.

Yea switching them around would be good to balance aquatic creatures
